Genesis Dealer of Conshohocken

Conshohocken Genesis

Just when we thought the Genesis G70 had won all the awards that were available to give out, we received word that the G70 rose to the top of the J.D. Power 2019 Multimedia Quality and Satisfaction Study. Now, Genesis has already taken first place in both the 2018 and 2019 U.S. Initial Quality Studies (IQS), so this a further vote of confidence from J.D. Power and Genesis customers of dealerships like the Genesis dealer of Conshohocken.

The J.D. Power 2019 Multimedia Quality and Satisfaction Study is performed annually. This is a very specific study, which gauges customers' satisfaction with their vehicles' multimedia systems, including the communication, audio, navigation and entertainment systems.

The study determines which brands and models have the least number of problems for every 100 cars sold (known as PP100). The Multimedia Study found that the Genesis G70 checked in with only 7.4 PP100, a full 28% less than the closest competitor. We at Genesis Conshohocken believe this is an amazing accomplishment.

Genesis 2.0T versions satisfy drivers with its 252-horsepower turbocharged four-cylinder engine. Rear-wheel drive is standard and all-wheel drive is available. This engine is energetic, nimble and a joy to drive. The steering is responsive, and the suspension does a great job of balancing comfort and firmness. Drivers can use the G70's drive-mode select, which can be set to Comfort, Sport, Eco and Custom to match the driver's preferences and driving conditions. There's even a six-speed manual transmission option. Drivers who want more power can choose the 3.3T model and take advantage of its twin-turbocharged, 365-horsepower V6.

This year's Initial Quality Study saw Genesis vehicles at the top of not only the premium segment, but also the entire automotive industry. Genesis vehicles saw 32% less problems than the industry standard and a full 25% fewer problems than the next-highest vehicle in the premium segment.

"Our customers constantly tell us how technological innovation is one of their top purchase reasons," said Erwin Raphael, COO, Genesis Motor America. "We are always striving to bring meaningful technological innovations into our cars."

Raphael also pointed out that receiving this award from a respected industry leader like J.D. Power makes Genesis even more committed than ever to provide an outstanding experience to its customers by focusing on exceptional communication, audio entertainment and navigation features.

The Initial Quality Study has been going strong for more than 30 years. The study is measured when customers have owned their vehicles for 90 days and is considered to be the benchmark for measuring new vehicle quality. The 2019 Initial Quality Study is based on consumer purchases and leases of new, 2019 model-year vehicles. The study is a valuable tool used by automakers to identify and correct problems and to improve their products.
